Jiangyin Hi-tech Park covers a land area of 120,000m2 and has a planned office area of 200,000 m2.The first stage of the project(with an investment of 150million RMB and office rooms of 50,000 m2) have been putting into use; and the office room for R&D and apartment for introduced talents of the second stage of the project will commence this July; factory facility of the third stage is now being under plan.
In September,2005,the Park was approved by the Provincial Personnel Bureau as an Incubator Park for returned Chinese students from overseas, the Incubator Park will be operated by the same staff members of the Hi-tech Park. Up to now, there are totally 102 companies in the Park, involved in industries varied from new material, telecommunication, and biomedicine to new energy. Among the start-ups, there are 89 returned Chinese students from overseas,89 with doctor¡¯s degree and 156 with master¡¯s degree. The number of new products developed by the in-park companies has been more than 100,and that of Patents by them is up to 65(among them 18 patens are that of invention).
With an aim of assisting all the startups realizing their dreams and developing the Park at the same time, the Park offers the admitted companies all kinds of services during their development, such as consultation on law issues, on accounting, on paten and on company management, and technology support, information service, and property management as well, thus creating a harmonious, convenient and low-cost environment for startups.
